leafy leaf leaf

i was suppose to blog about this ages ago but everytime i got online, i just totally forgot abt it.

was chilling out in my brother's new flat with one of my distant cousin & alvin & the talk of plants came up.
This cousin of mine needed some ideas of what kind of plant to use for a photo shoot.
he wanted something leafy+big, so i mentioned:"how about the wild yam plant leaf? it's massive!"
he thought for a moment and went:"you're not talking about the CB leaf i hope?"
i went:"what CB leaf?!"
cousin looked at Alvin and said:"been through NS right? you know whats the CB leaf yah?"
Alvin nodded and there was this instant "yeah, we know what it is but not you" look on their faces.
i was left bewildered.
Alvin consoled me and went:"maybe you can look in those spoof guidebook for recuits, i'm sure they'll have a photo of it inside."

Later that night, i went to hound Dave.
"what is the CB leaf?"
Dave:"errr.....hard to explain lah. when we see it i will show you"
so i spent the rest of my holidays in Singapore wondering what the hell this CB leaf was.

then one day, when a trip to Sentosa was abandoned cos of threatening rain clouds,
Dave decided he would bring me to Botanic Gardens to cheer me up.
after a nice time sitting in the gardens, munching chips, listening to 99.5fm, watching the ducks, it was time to go.
along the way to the car, i was admiring the flowers along the path when Dave suddenly stop and said:"there, this is the CB leaf."
me:"huh? but it looks nothing like what i thought it would be"
Dave then peeled open a part of the leaf then lo and behold, it transformed into THE CB leaf!

i was so happy in finally knowing why is was called that term by the NS men, i went to peel open more leaves!
Dave was shaking his head....
i bet he was regretting telling me & felt i was an embaressment.
but i didnt care!
i finally knew what the CB leaf was!
hahahhahhahah.

ok.
a tad the lame.
but i bet there are loads of Singaporeans (girls esp) out there who still don't know what the CB leaf is!
*smirk*

go on.
go hound the NS friends, boyfriends you have.

yawn...

i slept from 4pm yesterday afternoon and only woke up at 7am this morning.
so that means i slept for: 15hours straight!
didnt even wake up for dinner.
gosh...
did this online "when i'll die survey" @ http://www.okcupid.com/death and my results are:
86.3 years, most likely of cancer.

the site also says the avg women's lifespan is 77 years, so i'm above avg.
urgh.
as long as i dont grow old alone, it's ok.

maybe it's me?

SNOW!
it's snowing again!
heh heh.
just stuck my head to look out and i tot it was rain but it's snow for sure!
dont think it's going to settle though.
but what the heck!
i get to see snow falling the morning i get back!
=]

cold feet yet again

i'm back.
erm....
time to be on my own and fend off crazy thoughts in my head.
even until now and after all the happy moments in spore,
i sometimes still wish THAT girl will burn in hell for what ever grief she's caused.
not that i really want to curse her 'cos i Do believe in karma.
then so if karma does exist,
does that mean she will feel the same amount of anguish sooner or later?
in the mean time,
*the evil glare appears each time she crosses my mind*
hmmph
