as reported in the Evening Standard last week:
August's torrential downpours and floods are to be replaced by warm sunshin that may last untill October.
Forecasters predict a repear of weather patterns from the Fifties and Sixties,
which saw warm and sunny weather in May & early June, followed by winds and showers in July,
a deluge in August and long periods of sunshin for much of September and possibly October.
The current forecast predicts brighter and warmer weather starting later this week.
Temperatures are expected to climb steadily and each 27C by next Monday or Tuesday.
Yes, the weather-man got it right this time round.
it's high of 26C this week, though a tad windy.
sigh.
