the Evening Standard had a promotion and it meant that the public who got their hands on a voucher,
could go to selected Odeon cinemas for a free movie.
Yes, i took the chance and went to queue up with voucher in hand and after a 15mins wait,
ta-da!
i got a free ticket worth 11.50.
Decided to watch the much acclaimed Bride & Prejudice, and it's Bolly-good!
It had me and my friend laughing throughout the show and even though it was very typical Bollywood,
the director did a good job injecting modern foreign influences into it.
Also since we've all grown up with them singing & dancing in hindi, it's really amusing to hear them sing in english while being all traditional with all the bright costumes & dancing.
Please go watch it!
Especially if you are in need of a laugh.
