i bought a small pot of marks&spencer vanilla yogurt the other day and naturally dumped it into the fridge. it was not suppose to expire till the 8th of aug, but over the few days that it had been sitting in the fridge, something happened.
it's got those typical foil seal top and so if the top starts to pop up (bloated), obviously something is wrong right? i did take it out yesterday, prodded the seal and thought "hmmm, it's not expired yet....& i'm not in the mood for yogurt. maybe tomorrow", and put it back in the fridge.
then a couple of hours ago after a dinner of yummy chicken rice, my sister bugged me to check on the bloated yogurt again. so i got it out of the fridge again, stared at the pot and said:"ok, i think it's gone bad. the foil is bloated to the point that it looks like it's about to burst."
sister then suggested that i just open it to see what it's like.
i hesitated... but she insisted again so fine, i tore open the foil.
*poooop*!
the freaking yogurt exploded into the air, onto my t-shirt, face and hair!!!!!!!
and yes, it had gone bad and was smelling all sour and horrible.
=S
stupid 49pence yogurt that expired way too early.
bleah!
